Deposit Operations Specialist

Branch:  Lebanon

Department:  Deposits 

Reports To:  Vice President – Deposit Operations

Supervises:  None 

Job Summary:  

The Deposit Operations Specialist demonstrates our Core Values of Service, Professionalism, Excellence, and Teamwork in all interactions and responsibilities.

This position provides support to customers using Online Banking services and assists with Bill Pay through iPay, including new enrollments, fraud notifications, and customer support. The Deposit Operations Specialist also provides support for Cash Management customers and manages Remote Deposit Capture enrollments and support for business customers.

Responsibilities include performing file maintenance checkoff procedures, providing phone support to customers, printing CD and IRA reports, and processing CDARS and ICS transactions. The Deposit Operations Specialist processes daily overdrafts, items with insufficient funds, and rejected transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies.

Additional duties include managing Mobile Deposit services by handling new enrollments, providing customer support, and approving deposits. The position is responsible for keying and processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers, monitoring and responding to back-office website messages, and processing ACH transfers for Cash Management customers.

The Deposit Operations Specialist completes Accuity and Social Security verifications, performs general ledger account reconciliations, handles customer disputes, and reviews and images documents scanned into Synergy. This role also submits rates to Rate Watch and assists with other related duties and special projects as assigned to support the overall success of the bank.

Education & Experience: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 

  • Successful completion of the in-house training program 

  • Good interpersonal communication and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, adding machines and typewriters

Customer Service Representative/Teller

Branch:  Camdenton

Department:  Deposits 

Reports To:  Branch Manager

Supervises:  None 

Job Summary:  

The Customer Service Representative/Teller exemplifies our Core Values of Service, Professionalism, Excellence, and Teamwork while delivering exceptional service to customers and supporting daily branch operations.

This position assists customers with opening, maintaining, and servicing deposit accounts and provides prompt, friendly, and accurate customer service in person, by phone, and through written communication. The CSR/Teller processes a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include balancing a cash drawer, verifying deposits, reviewing checks for proper endorsement, placing holds when necessary, and managing currency and coin. The CSR/Teller also assists with night depository processing and supports customers with debit card services, check orders, online banking, and other account-related inquiries.

The CSR/Teller maintains a working knowledge of the bank's products and services, including IRA accounts, to effectively serve customers and identify opportunities to meet their financial needs. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an organized and properly stocked teller station, reporting equipment or system issues, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Teller

Branch:  Plato

Department:  Deposits 

Reports To:   Branch Coordinator

Supervises:  None 

Job Summary:  

The Teller exemplifies our Core Values of Service, Professionalism, Excellence, and Teamwork while providing accurate, efficient, and friendly service to customers and supporting daily branch operations.

This position processes a variety of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing, in accordance with bank policies and procedures. The Teller ensures proper documentation for all transactions, verifies deposit amounts, reviews checks for proper endorsement, and places holds when necessary.

Responsibilities include balancing a cash drawer, counting and managing currency and coin, assisting with night depository processing, and maintaining an organized and properly stocked teller station. The Teller is also responsible for identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or system issues to ensure efficient branch operations.

The Teller provides basic assistance with debit card inquiries and transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. Additional responsibilities include adhering to all bank policies and procedures to maintain security and compliance standards and performing other related duties as assigned.
